"What you do is exactly what we do," NASA astronaut Cady Coleman tells the audience of sustainability pros. Having lived at the International Space Station provides a one-of-a-kind perspective. Coleman, NASA's chief technologist and originally a polymer chemist, describes her work. "We're doing things up there that cannot be done down here but have a lot to do with life on Earth." It turns out that what's good for Mars is also good for us.
