Job Description

CALIBRE is seeking an experienced Civil, Chemical, or Environmental Engineer with 5+ years experience working on challenging environmental remediation projects throughout the Pacific Northwest and California. Opportunity is based in the Seattle Area; however, ability to work independently from a home office is required. Up to 50% US travel may be required, depending on project locations.

The ideal individual will possess previous experience providing project management guidance and technical expertise for remediation projects that consist of design, construction, operation and maintenance of groundwater, soil, and sediment remediation systems. Must have the ability to manage all ongoing project activities from project initiation through completion. This includes preparation of proposals, budgets, remediation action plans, managing subcontractor performance, interpreting technical data, reviewing pilot studies, designing systems, and providing overall client management to assure project goals are achieved and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements are met.

Required Qualifications

Excellent verbal, written communication abilities and skills to manage challenging remediation projects needed. Experience with Data Quality Objectives and remediation streamlining initiatives desired.

Registration as an EIT or PE, or ability to become registered, is required.
40-hour OSHA certification
