In a country with small quantities of oil and gas and dwindling world resources; Ireland must take advantage of as much wind, solar and wave energy as possible. It is important for Ireland to take a lead role in Research and Development in Renewable Energy and Energy Storage Systems with a view to leading the world in this area in the future.

Having 25 years experience working for blue chip companies (Alcan, Oral B, Braun, Polaroid, and MF Kent.) as an employee and contactor in that time, I have continuously upgraded my technical and business skills to stay in touch with new developments and trends. My goal for 2008 on completion of my degree is to secure employment in a leading renewable energy company where I expect to play a lead role in the industry.
