The Global Resource Information Database provides access to technical environmental information related to Norway and other Nordic countries and the two polar regions, as well as data gathered from the global and regional activities of the United Nations Environment Programme. It specializes in advanced Geographic Information Systems, data preparation and modeling, database development, and data searching and communication. The GRID database contains GIS data sets, maps, graphics, and environmental reports.
