This tool is developing. The list started with five destination cities — Portland, Pittsburgh, Seattle, San Francisco and Orlando — and Meeting Strategies Worldwide is seeking more participants in the ratings program. The participating cities are charged a fee that covers third-party verification of the green attributes of the destination, the company said. The verified eco-friendly elements are the basis for the score.
